Jack Richardson is an award-winning British director and founder of Run Home Productions, working across film, television, theatre and live entertainment.

Originally trained as an actor at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Jack moved behind the camera in 2018, bringing a strong instinct for character, performance and visual storytelling to his work.

His professional credits include major West End productions and high-profile entertainment projects, alongside narrative films, documentaries and branded content. His short Daniel’s Room won Best Overall Film at Short Is Beautiful and has received recognition at other international festivals.

Jack’s narrative work is drawn to dark comedy, horror and heightened genre storytelling, combining cinematic ambition with a playful sense of the absurd. His latest short, The Wretch, is a comedy-horror inspired by the anarchic energy of Sam Raimi.

Based in the West Midlands, Jack is developing his work towards feature film and high-end television while championing emerging filmmaking talent.

Natasha Killip is a writer and actor with 14 years of professional acting experience. Her comedy pilot was born from a desire to tell an unapologetically working-class story and shine a light on a world that is rarely explored beyond its surface.

Set inside a run-down strip club in Birmingham, the series plays with the contrast between a job that is often perceived as glamorous, provocative and inherently sexual, and the much more mundane reality behind the scenes — the broken equipment, difficult customers, staff politics, financial pressures and everyday dramas that come with simply trying to get through a shift.

Natasha is passionate about character-led British comedy and believes there is a space for a contemporary working-class ensemble comedy that feels both authentic and entertaining. Inspired by shows such as Phoenix Nights, she wanted to capture that uniquely British ability to find humour in ordinary, chaotic and sometimes bleak situations, while putting strong, complex female characters firmly at the centre.

Her experience as an actor has also informed the writing, with a particular focus on creating distinctive, playable characters and giving performers the opportunity to bring depth, humour and humanity to women who are often reduced to stereotypes on screen.

The result is a comedy that uses the unlikely setting of a Birmingham strip club to tell a much more universal story about work, friendship, ambition, survival and finding humour in the everyday.
